At Ireland’s Raw Kitchen we care about our planet. We are delighted to be involved in a business that promotes environmentally friendly sustainable non- intensive farming practices and healthy living. All our products are organic and fairly traded where possible so the farmers get a fair price for their produce and that money can be used in the local economy. Some of our products, however, cannot be certified as organic as they have not been produced using measurable organic methods. Nonetheless we endeavour to ensure that all our products are free from agrichemicals. An example of this would be the seaweed we hand-harvest ourselves using traditional sustainable methods form some of the most unspoilt coastline of the west of Ireland. ShippingWe try to reduce our carbon footprint as much as possible to that end we ensure that sea transport is the primary route for all our imported products. We also use road couriers so that your purchases are delivered with other products on multi-drop journeys. PackagingAt Ireland’s Raw kitchen we aim to reduce waste by recycling and reusing all packaging from our suppliers. Where we need to use our own packaging we will try to ensure that it is kept to a minimum and we aim to use recyclable/ biodegradable packaging where possible.
